Step 1: Connect Your Wallet

CruTrade uses crypto wallets to log you in and track ownership securely. This keeps provenance verifiable and puts you in control.

If you already have a wallet:

Click “Wallet Connect” on the login screen and select your preferred wallet. Approve the connection, and you’re in.

If you don’t have a wallet yet:

We recommend Core Wallet—it’s fast, secure, and designed to work with the Avalanche network (which powers CruTrade).

To set it up:

• On the login screen, click “Wallet Connect”

• Scan the QR code with your phone
  
  
• Follow the prompts to create a wallet in under 2 minutes
  
  
• No credit card or funding required
  
  
• Physically write down your recovery phrase and store it somewhere safe—this is your backup key if you lose access. Please do not store digitally.
  
  

Once your wallet is connected, you're ready to fund it.

Step 2: Fund Your Wallet with USDC

CruTrade uses two digital assets:

• USDC — a stablecoin (digital dollar) used to buy wine
  
  

Option A: Buy directly inside Core Wallet

• Open your Core Wallet
  
  
• Click “Buy”
  
  
• Choose USDC
  
  
• Funds typically appear within minutes
  
  

Option B: Send funds from a crypto exchange

If you already use Coinbase, Kraken, Binance, or another platform:

• Buy USDC
  
  
• Send the funds to your Core Wallet address
  
  
• Important: Choose the Avalanche C-Chain network when transferring

How Much Should I Fund My Wallet With?

We recommend:

Most listings on CruTrade range from $300 to $2,200 per bottle. You can always top up later, but having both assets ready ensures you don’t miss out on a bottle worth owning.

Step 3: Buy Wine
‍

Once your wallet is connected and funded:

• Browse the marketplace
  
  
• Choose the bottle you want
  
  
• Click “Buy” and approve the transaction in your wallet
  
  

Ownership transfers instantly and is recorded on the blockchain. The wine stays stored in our bonded, temperature-controlled facility until you decide to ship or resell.

Step 4: Sell Wine and Cash Out
‍

You can list bottles you own directly from your connected wallet or inventory.

To sell on CruTrade:

1. Go to “My Cellar” or your wallet view in the app
   
   
2. Select the bottle you want to list
   
   
3. Click “List for Sale”
   
   
4. Set your price in USDC and confirm
   
   

When someone buys your bottle, you receive USDC instantly in your wallet. The bottle stays in storage, and the new buyer takes over ownership.

To convert your earnings into cash:

• Send your USDC to an exchange (like Coinbase, Kraken, or Binance)
  
  
• Convert it into your local currency (USD, EUR, etc.)
  
  
• Withdraw to your bank account
  
  

Most withdrawals arrive in 1–3 business days, depending on your region.
