To use CruTrade, you’ll need crypto. It’s how ownership transfers happen instantly and securely.
Getting set up only takes a few minutes. You’ll create:
- A CruTrade wallet (you’ll do this when you sign up)
- A way to fund it. The fastest and easiest way is to send USDC directly to your CruTrade wallet from a Centralized Exchange (CEX). We recommend using Coinbase if you’re in the US or Binance if you’re outside of the US.
If you already have a crypto wallet on Avalanche or CEX account, you can send USDC directly to your CruTrade wallet address. No need to set up an additional wallet.
What’s a CruTrade Wallet?
When you sign up for CruTrade, you’ll create a CruTrade wallet—this is your unique wallet address on the platform where funds from wine sales are received and where you’ll hold USDC to make purchases. It also holds your wine NFTs.
It’s connected to your account and acts like your personal balance inside CruTrade. But to fund it, you’ll need to send USDC from a separate crypto wallet or exchange account.
When you do, make sure to select Avalanche C-Chain as the network—using the wrong one means your funds won’t arrive and can’t be recovered.
Think of it like this:
- Your CruTrade wallet is your account inside the marketplace
- Your crypto wallet (like Coinbase or Binance) is what you use to load funds into it
How to Create and Fund Your CruTrade Wallet (Using Coinbase or Binance)
Step 1: Create Your CruTrade Account
Go to the CruTrade marketplace and sign up. We’ll automatically assign you a CruTrade wallet address, which will be emailed to you. Save that email—you’ll need your CruTrade wallet address to be able to connect it to your crypto wallet.
Step 2: Create an Account on Coinbase or Binance
- In the US: Go to Coinbase and create an account
- Outside of the US: Go to Binance and create an account
Follow the verification steps and add a payment method like a credit card or bank account.
Step 3: Buy USDC
Once your account is set up, buy USDC directly through Coinbase or Binance using your payment method.
Step 4: Send USDC to Your CruTrade Wallet
- Open your Coinbase or Binance wallet and choose Send or Withdraw
- Copy your CruTrade wallet address from your welcome email. Note: CruTrade runs on Avalanche C-Chain, so when you send funds to your wallet, make sure to select Avalanche C-Chain as the network. Using the wrong network means your funds won’t arrive—and they can’t be recovered.
- Paste it as the recipient
- Enter the amount of USDC you want to send
- Confirm and submit the transaction
Within a few minutes, your CruTrade wallet will be funded and ready to use.
